In the late part of 2011, in the midst of a period of personal trial and grief, David while reaching out to Christ for help, heard for three continuous nights, "Get on your knees and ask me." On the third night he believed the voice and humbled himself and performed what to all understanding is a simple act of faith: he fell to his knees before God in obedience.
What has proceeded every day since has been a work of Christ in shaping a servant to minister the Gospel to all whom the Lord would cause to hear through him. In the teachings and in his personal testimony, much more of who is David Zebrowski will be unveiled. In short, David is among the least remarkable having little in way of special gifts or talents, nor skill nor strength of his own, in order to be about the work of Christ. Simply put, he believed and obeyed the voice he heard and God received it as righteousness.
God gave David a job to do: "I am to go out and teach, through my experiences and my faith, the Word and truth and love of God."
So it was that in most respects, what might best be understood as the "fisherman's journey" was to begin and is ever unfolding. David will tell all who will listen of the Kingdom of Heaven, and how the role of man on the earth was not made for the smart or strong or self-accomplished on the earth. Far from it. It was made by God for children. His children. For all who would humble themselves and come as a child and hear as a child and believe as a child; to them is all of the Kingdom open and available. To those who will not so enter into the Kingdom, it remains greatly limited or outright closed.
This is the best of news, for this means that there is no special requirement for entrance, but simple faith in the name and person of Jesus Christ. Believing in His death in our place for our sins, that He took our just punishment and imparted to us His righteousness through His death and resurrection; that by faith in His name, belief in His perfect life offered on our behalf, our own repentance of our sins and positioning Jesus as Lord and God, are we then accepted by God and made new in Christ.
If any of this is interesting to you, and it is our prayer that it would be, then enter in and listen to the ministry of the Spirit through this servant of Christ. The teaching will be bold and without fear, as much as can be said of any man so set in place and upheld by God. It will be straightforward, rooted and grounded in the Scriptures and it will be simple and childlike. Expect to be challenged, for those who seek to know and live for Christ, there is no way forward unchallenged. Yet challenge being a part of life in this world one way or another, let the challenge be that of one that prospers you forever, builds up your heavenly house and is by faith pleasing to the Lord God who created you for Himself.
The choice is ever yours. To hear. To discern. To believe and put into practice the truth of God as it is given of His Spirit.
